Amelia Froelich

Hi all! My name is Amelia Froelich and I am a Minnesota native from the tiny town of Le Sueur. This spring I will be graduating with a degree in Public Relations (with a Concentration in Leadership)

After graduation I plan to work abroad or gain some experience here in Des Moines (or Minneapolis) with corporate and nonprofit work.

My favorite Drake memories include staying up all night being silly with friends freshmen year, getting extremely involved with Drake’s many organizations sophomore year, forming close meaningful friendships and professional connections junior year, and traveling abroad for my LEAD Capstone as well as bonding with the talented women in my PR Capstone before I finish up my last year of Drake as a senior.

My one tip for Drake freshmen is to let the achievements of your peers inspire you and celebrate their victories, but always remember that you are on your own life journey and college path. Understanding college and adulthood take time, so pace yourself and take all the time you need! Don’t dwell on the achievements others and instead work on your own success!
