Favorite Drake memory: Traveling to NYC with fellow magazine media majors! I never thought I’d step foot in Cosmo’s office, but I did!

One tip for Drake freshmen: Join a student publication! And apply for leadership roles! I learned SO MUCH working with Drake Mag as a staff writer and photographer my freshman year, and was able to transition into being a photo editor and art director later on. You’ll also get to work with some wonderful people (Morgan Noll and Ale Diaz were my Drake Mag work wives).

Plans after graduation: I’m hoping to either continue working in publication design or transition into UX / UI design. So, if you hear of any job openings, let me know…
