What your business does: KNM Productions strives to provide the best-in-class media services to produce and capture the most important moments for events, weddings, parties, and everything in between at the budget our clients need. Furthermore, we push to continually learn, serve, and promote the well-being of our employees, clients, and community.

What inspired you to start your business: I started my DJing business early on because I wanted to work, but was not old enough to legally work. I continued to do any events that came my way and began to grow the equipment and clients. Beginning in 2018 my brother who was a photographer and I formally organized our business, KNM Productions and have grown from just the two of us to now a team of 7 of us.

How are you using what you learned in the SJMC in your job? I use my SJMC skills nearly all the time. Through social media posts, design skills, and messaging, brand development. The skills we learned in visual media and social media strategies are continually being used for outward appearances and all of my PR classes prepared me for situations such as COVID-19 impacting the event industry.
